super vibrantes. São imagens de encher os olhos. Mas, o Super Amoled tem a
tendência de “esverdear” ligeiramente as imagens. Nesse sentido, os aparelhos
que optaram pelo IPS LCD levaram a melhor. Apesar do contraste não ser tão
alto, as cores pareceram mais naturais e mais precisas. Aqui, quem saiu na
frente foi o iPhone 5, com a reprodução mais natural de cores entre todos. Mas,
vale uma ressalva em favor do Nokia. A tela do aparelho foi a que melhor se
adaptou às variações de luz, oferecendo boa visibilidade, mesmo em ambientes
super iluminados, com luz do sol, por exemplo. Além disso, a Nokia é o único

digamos objetivos ligados a ele, como tamanho de tela e peso do aparelho.
Se tamanho for documento, Galaxy S3 sai na frente, sem
dúvida. Sua incrível tela de 4.8 polegadas é a maior de todas. Ele é seguido de
perto pelo LG, Motorola e Nokia, que oferecem telas de 4.7 polegadas. Logo
depois vem o Xperia S, com 4.3 polegadas e por último o iPhone 5, com suas 4
polegadas. Então se tela grande é seu negócio, o S3 é sua escolha.
É claro que tela maior significa também mais peso. Porém,
aqui, novamente, o S3 se dá bem. Apesar do tamanho, o aparelho é super leve,
com apenas 133 gramas. O mesmo peso do LG Optimus. Na balança, a disputa ficou
assim: o mais leve é o iPhone, com 112 gramas. Em seguida, vêm o S3 e o Optimus

megapixels. Notamos deficiência especialmente em ambientes com menos luz...
Aqui, quem se deu bem foi a Nokia. Sua câmera traseira traz 8.7 megapixels,
completados pelo sistema Pure View. Para quem não conhece, o Pure View é um
sistema de renderização de imagens criado pela Nokia que tenta – e consegue –
dar mais qualidade às fotos. Mas, apesar da ligeira vantagem da Nokia, o Galaxy
S3 e o iPhone 5 não ficaram muito longe. Na verdade, a vantagem da Nokia ficou
mais evidente apenas em ambientes com menos luz. Nos ambientes com luz natural,
por exemplo, o S3 foi quem se saiu melhor. Na foto tiradas em close, o iPhone 5
foi o campeão. Quem ficou por último no quesito fotos foi a Motorola. E já está
virando tradição. A Motorola parece não se entender com as câmeras de seus
smartphones ultimamente... No quesito foto, a ponta fica com a Nokia, seguida
de perto pela Samsung e pela Apple.
Mas, as câmeras servem também para captar vídeos, é claro.
Nesse modo de captura houve empate técnico entre praticamente todos os modelos.
Todos eles captam imagens em Full HD com a câmera traseira e imagens em 720p
com a câmera dianteira.
Esses são aparelhos que fazem de tudo, mas você também pode
querer usá-los para fazer e receber ligações... Nessa hora, a qualidade do
áudio faz diferença.
Vamos começar pelo topo. A melhor experiência de áudio veio
do iPhone. Graças a um terceiro microfone que se dedica exclusivamente a

Esse quesito é para quem adora os detalhes técnicos. Mas, é
preciso que se diga, aqui, nem sempre o que está no papel significa o que você
tem como experiência de uso. S3 e Optimus são os únicos quad-core desse teste.
No caso do S3, isso significou estar, quase sempre na primeira posição em
termos de desempenho. Mas... o desempenho é resultado da integração entre
processador, memória, chip gráfico e sistema operacional. E aí as coisas se
complicam. O iPhone 5 usa o processador A6, desenhado pela própria Apple, que
se integra ao iOS 6, sistema operacional da maçã. O resultado é que o iPhone 5
foi o aparelho que mais rapidamente navegou pela internet. A velocidade do
browser foi quase 20% superior ao do S3, que ficou em segundo lugar. O mesmo
vale para a reprodução de vídeos e renderização de gráficos complexos. A
unidade gráfica do iPhone 5 superou todos os concorrentes e sobrou na disputa.
Resultado: o Galaxy S3 tem o processador mais rápido entre os testados, mas no
desempenho do dia-a-dia, a plataforma da Apple acaba por superar a Samsung na
navegação de internet e nos recursos gráficos.
No quesito armazenamento, várias diferenças. Nokia e Sony
oferecem 32 giga de memória interna. E só. Apple oferece os já tradicionais 16,
32 ou 64 giga. Aí vem a turma que aceita cartões de memória. Quem chama a
atenção é o S3 que oferece os mesmos 16, 32 e 64 giga da Apple e ainda a

chegar até a 128 giga de memória com o S3. Haja espaço! LG e Motorola oferecem
esquemas parecidos. Ambos deixam 12 giga de memória interna e podem receber
cartões com até 32 giga. Ou seja, com esses dois vocês chega a no máximo 44
giga.
Bateria
quando o assunto é bateria: gostamos das removíveis. Nesse
nosso teste, apenas dois têm bateria removível: LG e Samsung. E o S3 foi quem
apresentou a maior duração de bateria quando o assunto é falar ao telefone. No
nosso teste, a bateria da Samsung durou aproximadamente dez horas. Mas, quando
o assunto mudou para navegar pela internet, a situação mudou de figura. Aí,
quem se deu melhor foi o iPhone. Navegando pela Web, o telefone da Apple ficou
de pé quase 10 horas. Na hora de assistir vídeos, nova vitória da maçã com
quase nove horas de exibição de vídeos em HD de forma ininterrupta. Nesse
quesito, quem performou muito bem também foi a Nokia, com a bateria durando
quase nove horas para navegação de internet e também para vídeos em HD.
Sistema operacional
Aqui, outra batalha. Cada um dos 3 sistemas operacionais tem
pontos fortes e fracos. E seria preciso um Laboratório Digital inteiro só
dedicado a eles para explorar as diferenças. Fazendo um resumo, dá para dizer
que todos eles são sistemas estáveis, rápidos e super eficientes, com
interfaces capazes de agradar a todos. O iOS e o Android levam vantagem sobre o
Windows 8 no quesito quantidade de aplicativos. Como são mais antigas, suas
lojas de aplicativos são muito maiores. Mas, já há milhares de aplicativos
também para o Windows Phone. No quesito segurança, o iOS é de longe o vencedor.
Até hoje quase não se sabe de vírus capazes de infectar iPhones. O mesmo não se
pode dizer do Android. Até por ser uma plataforma aberta, o sistema do Google
já é vítima de vários malwares. O Windows Phone ainda não entrou na mira dos
bandidos virtuais apenas porque sua participação de mercado é pequena. Ou seja,
pode ser apenas questão de tempo. A Apple quebrou a cara com seu sistema de
mapas, mas, felizmente para os usuários, o Google Maps já está mais uma vez
disponível para os iPhones. O Windows Phone traz a vantagem da plena integração
