Apple deverá aposentar de vez, em breve, o MacBook Pro sem tela Retina e o iPad 2

Dentre os produtos que a Apple comercializa atualmente (não só no Brasil, vale notar), dois “antigos” deverão ser descontinuados em breve: o MacBook Pro sem tela Retina e o iPad 2.

De acordo com uma matéria publicada hoje pelo DigiTimes, a Apple estaria planejando finalizar a produção do MacBook Pro de 13 polegadas até o segundo semestre deste ano, passando a ter uma linha composta somente de modelos com tela Retina. Um dos motivos pelos quais ela manteve esse modelo à venda foi devido à diferença de preços entre eles, algo que ela tem conseguido diminuir com a queda nos custos de componentes utilizados na geração moderna.

O modelo de 15 polegadas sem tela Retina foi descontinuado ainda no ano passado

Caso mais extremo ainda é o do iPad 2, lançado originalmente em março de 2011. Com um processador A5, 

conector de 30 pinos e sem tela Retina, ele já está com uma produção super-reduzida e deverá ser retirado definitivamente da linha “num futuro muito breve”. Pessoalmente, eu achava que isso aconteceria ainda em 2013, quando o iPad Air e o iPad mini com tela Retina foram lançados.

Depois desses, outros que — ao meu ver — poderão ir no mesmo caminho daqui a não muito tempo incluem o iPhone 4, o iPad mini de primeira geração e o iPod classic.

MacBook Pro 13 inch being retired

According to an article published today by DigiTimes matter, Apple is planning to finish production of 13-inch MacBook Pro until the second half of this year , starting to have a line consisting only of models with Retina display . One of the reasons why she kept this model on sale was due to the price difference between them , something she has managed to decrease with falling costs of components used in the modern generation .

The 15-inch model without Retina display was also discontinued last year

iPad 2 being most extreme aposentadoCaso is still the iPad 2 , originally released in March 2011 . With an A5 processor,

30-pin connector and no Retina display , it is already a super - reduced production and should be removed permanently from the line " in the very near future ." Personally , I thought this still happen in 2013 , when the Air iPad mini and iPad with Retina display were launched .

After these , others - in my view - may go the same way here not long including iPhone 4 , iPad mini first generation and iPod classic .
