Relatório da Cisco sobre segurança no mundo móvel indica que 99% dos malwares são focados em aparelhos com Android

Não é a primeira vez e, pelo visto, não será a última que Phil Schiller (vice-presidente sênior de marketing mundial da Apple) twitta “despretensiosamente” links para relatórios de pesquisas de segurança no mundo móvel. Se em março do ano passado ele comentou um estudo da F-Secure,agora foi a vez do Relatório de Segurança de 2014 da Cisco

Em 2012, 79% dos malwares eram focados no Android (sistema operacional móvel do Google); já em 2013, o número pulou para absurdos 99%!

Nem todos os malwares foram criados para atacar dispositivos específicos — muitos envolvem táticas como phishing e likejacking, além de outros artifícios. Desses malwares espalhados pela web, 71% são focados no Android enquanto 14% teriam o iOS como objetivo maior.

Independentemente de plataforma (móvel ou desktop), a recomendação é sempre a mesma: não saia instalando/aceitando qualquer coisa que aparece no seu dispositivo, navegador ou email. Procure baixar, clicar/tocar e aceitar arquivos apenas de fontes confiáveis e seja feliz. ;-)

Com o “iWatch” em mente, Apple estaria trabalhando para integrar a Siri em apps de terceiros

De acordo com o The Information, a Apple está trabalhando para melhorar a Siri, fazendo com que a assistente virtual de iPads e iPhones/iPods touch “converse” melhor com aplicativos e serviços de terceiros.

É verdade que hoje em dia a Siri está muito mais capaz do que quando foi lançada, em 2011. Todavia, a Apple ainda não a integrou em apps de terceiros da forma que a gente espera e imagina. Quer exemplos? Que tal reservar um hotel por comandos de voz (via apps como Booking.com), comprar passagens (via apps como Decolar.com) ou interagir com outros apps de mensagens (comoWhatsApps da vida)? Bom, não é mesmo?

Muito provavelmente a Apple já estava pensando e trabalhando nessas coisas antes mesmo de o rumor do “iWatch” vir à tona, mas de acordo com o The Information, o suposto relógio/pulseira inteligente da Apple deu um empurrão nesse aspecto — como sua tela será pequena, a interação com a Siri será um grande diferencial para comandar as ações.

Ainda de acordo com a matéria, a Maçã estaria estudando formas automáticas dinâmicas para que apps se ajustem ao pequeno display de acordo com a atividade do usuário. Exemplo: começou a correr? O app utilizado pelo usuário (por exemplo, o Nike+ Running) seria automaticamente aberto.

Mas a pergunta que não quer calar é: quando a Siri vai aprender a falar português, Apple?!

Regardless of (mobile or desktop ) platform , the recommendation is always the same : get off not installing / accepting anything that appears on your device , web browser or email. Look for download , click / touch and accept files only from trusted sources and be happy . ;-)

According to The Information , Apple is working to improve Siri , causing the virtual assistant iPads and iPhones / iPods touch " converse" with better applications and outsourced services .

It is true that nowadays Siri is much more capable than when it was launched in 2011 . However , Apple still not integrated in third-party apps in the way that we expect and think. Want examples ? How about booking a hotel by voice commands (via apps like Booking.com ) , buy tickets (via apps like Decolar.com ) or interact with other messaging apps ( comoWhatsApps of life ) ? Good , is not it ?
Most likely Apple was already thinking and working on these things even before the rumor of the " iWatch " to come out, but according to The Information , the supposed clock / smart wristband Apple gave a push that aspect - how your screen will be small , the interaction with Siri will be a great advantage to control the actions .
Also according to the matter, Apple would be studying dynamic automatic ways for apps fit the small display according to user activity . Example : started running ? The app used by the user ( eg , Nike + Running ) would automatically open .
But the question that remains is : when Siri will learn to speak Portuguese , Apple !
