A nova geração dos smartphones da Apple foi apresentada e os entusiastas da Maçã no exterior já podem comemorar, pois a pré-venda já está disponível. Os novos iPhones são maiores, tiram fotos melhores, são velozes e já são vendidos com o iOS 8. Como a espera é grande, até filas foram formadas em frente às Apple Stores.

O preço do aparelho de 4.7 polegadas mais simples permaneceu o mesmo da versão anterior. Contudo, vale lembrar que a companhia aboliu o modelo de 32 GB, sobrando o de 16, 64 e o novo de 128 GB. O salto no valor é de US$ 100 a cada avanço na quantidade de armazenamento interno.

Ambos os modelos estão disponíveis em preto, dourado e branco/prateado. O Brasil, como de praxe, não está na lista de países que receberão as primeiras remessas do smartphones, portanto, os preços ainda não são conhecidos. Para título de comparação, o iPhone 5s chegou ao nosso território por R$ 2800 em sua versão mais simples (16 GB).
