O Evo para Android, sistema operacional móvel do Google, é a nova aposta da AOC, empresa que faz parte do grupo Philips, para conquistar a liderança no mercado de vendas de computadores All in One (tudo em um) no Brasil. A ideia é pegar embalo no uso de smartphones e tablets que usam o mesmo sistema operacional. Segundo dados da própria AOC, 95% dos tablets e 77% dos celulares nacionais utilizam Android – um argumento considerado válido para lançar o produto. “Se o seu celular e tablet são Android, por que o computador da sua casa não pode ser também?”, disse Elcio Hardt, gerente de produto da AOC, durante lançamento do produto em São Paulo.

Para o consumidor que ainda não está ambientado, o All in One pode ser definido como um computador sem gabinete, no estilo desktop. O objetivo não é ter mobilidade como um notebook ou tablet, por exemplo. A intenção é contar com um ponto fixo na casa para poder fazer trabalhos. Com a versão Android, a AOC espera conquistar o público que já está ambientado com o uso de smartphones e tablet para trabalhos mais complexos, que necessitam um teclado. “Digitar um texto muito grande no celular pode ser cansativo. Por isso é necessário um teclado. No All in One com Android, vamos ter a mesma estrutura que o público conhece só que com um teclado para facilitar”, complementa Hardt.

Outro atrativo da AOC é o preço do novo All in One, que deve ficar na casa dos R$ 899 para a versão de 19,5 polegadas e na dos R$ 1.199 para o modelo de 21,5 polegadas, que ainda conta com a possibilidade do touchscreen.

O Evo conta com base ajustável e furação no padrão VESA (para fixação na parede). Além disso, ele possui 4 portas USB, 1 entrada HDMI e 1 VGA. As portas USB possibilitam o uso do produto como um computador comum, pronto para conexão com teclado e mouse (já inclusos), HD externo, pendrive e outros dispositivos USB. Já as entradas HDMI e VGA transformam o EVO em um monitor para todo tipo de uso, sendo possível aproveitar o touchscreen.

Um possível problema do Evo é a versão Android utilizada – que é a 4.1. Os gerentes da AOC, no entanto, garantem ser possível uma atualização em breve para a nova versão do sistema operacional, o 4.4. O mesmo vale para o pacote de proteção do computador. O 1GB de memória RAM é outro aspecto a ser observado no EVO, principalmente se o usuário optar pela instalação de games e muitos aplicativos.
